I usually try and keep everyone on similar timed tasks but I have to say, I try to keep Barney sober.
That must be a nightmare
Once I got the plow king skin last year, I found he was sober most of the time and hey Barney is his best sober.- I love this whole thread!! Here I thought I was the only one that talked to my characters and think they're real~ 8)
- I keep Stampy inside at all times. He's an indoor pet.
- barryriddl474Seasoned NewcomerI do.
Short answer.
NOTE: I wrote out a long detailed post, turned my head and looked back, and everything I typed disappeared (I can't type very well). Weird. - I don't really concern myself with selecting different tasks like some have said in this thread - my selection criteria is based purely on the hours to complete. For example, for this event, i've been using the 4 hours tasks for everyone (that have one) simply because that's how long it takes the elves to make presents.
However, i do cringe everytime i happen to hear Rod (or Todd) say the line, 'That was fun, so it must have been bad'.....i just find it so sad that the poor kids are taught to feel guilty about having fun. Lol, it sounds stupid just seeing that in type. 2almondnut wrote:

I have been sending Freddy Quimby to "Enjoy a privileged life" pretty much continuously since the snow arrived. I know that they probably haven't programmed an unlockable follow-up quest called "Get pneumonia and die because you spent 2 months lounging in your underwear in the snow" (4 hours), but I can try.
Lol!!!!!!
I wish Hugo had some nice, happy quests. I've given his house flowers, some playground stuff and a bench so his grandpa will visit. Any doable nice temp quests, he's there!
I generally don't care too much about what my characters are doing, but I do have a soft spot for Hugo. Any group task that is available that includes him I make sure that he is included. It would be nice for him to have at least one happy task.meinaz wrote:

He seems to enjoy walking the pigeon rat. He gets a little smile on his face when it runs a circle around him.- I'm starting to feel a little guilty that I view my characters simply as money-makers who are there to entertain me. That's not objectifying them is it? It's not like I'm zooming in on Mindy sunbathing in the snow. Well, maybe once or twice, but only to appreciate the finer details of the animation.
- Hmm, somewhat yes. I got Manjula because I didn't like the thought of Apu having to take care of the octuplets all on his own. I mean, I'd always see him walking around feeding them and he looked so tired. :P
I don't really like it when families aren't complete, especially when kids don't have their moms. That's the reason I bought Luann. - No...
