- I cant see you getting these donuts back as you made the choice to spend them, but that being said you could try iTunes for a refund maybe, as EA wont give you anything back!
- I saw a thread one guy apparently got his donuts back via raising ticket.. Best speaking to EA!

I saw that thread very suspect lol Don't know anyone who got money back from EA in all the time I been here, iTunes is your best bet, but as I say earlier it wasn't a mistake you spent the donuts, the choice was made.
The Past 3updates has been extended so was no surprise this one was extended too tbh- petergeenenNew Spectator

You are right Neo. But EA fails to communicate, so I can understand the frustration from the people who thought it was going to end. EA has to start communicating clearly about what's going on in the game. Not only about extending events, but also glitches and crashes and what not. They have this forum and a facebook page for crying out loud. - If you're talking about my thread, I DID get my 45 donuts back!!! I emailed EA. and if you still don't believe me, here is the email.......

EA Customer Experience - The English in that letter is appalling. I just can't believe such.

Both parties are at fault here. EA's fault for not communicating to the masses about the extension date and it's the customers' fault for spending the money BECAUSE they wanted the item, desperately enough to spend real money on donuts.
If the desire for the item was not there, there wouldn't be any problem to begin with, even if EA failed to communicate to the masses. The only problem would just be people complaining, "I WAS LOOKING FORWARD FOR THIS EVENT TO END AND A NEW ONE TO START!" Or somewhere along those lines. I guess you can say purchasing the donut at that very moment would have been a gamble (timeline extension or not). Either way, it's both EA and the consumers' fault.melodyhodge wrote:

Lol! I know! I don't know where those emails come from but you'd think they'd use generated letters for each issue. Like donuts, reporting someone, spam, technical issues, etc.KMEO wrote:

This is utmost stupidity. Have I walked into the twilight zone today or...
Of course one would desire to get an item you have been striving to get for a month! Duh! And I got all the whacking day prizes so this doesn't apply to me but the logic used here is a joke.HWick_Bluenose wrote:

I beleive that the service desk for game support is in Asia, so I daresay English isn't his first language. I got a refund on the Euro 2012 add-on for FIFA as it was truly appalling, so if you do complain it does work sometimes.
Ahh well that explains it.
