I agree. I wait till 11.50 Pacific time last night, but at the end I spent 40 donuts to get the MOtel. I did not want the same thing happen to me, than what happened with the Santa Coins.If they were going to extend it, they should have announced it earlier, so people would not have wasted the money and bought donuts.I think I am going to send them an email. It is a great game, but the whole easily wasted donut thing is annoying..

I'm one of these people, I opened a ticket with them and asked for the donuts to be credited back. If they do, they do. If not oh well. It was my choice to buy cuz I had nowhere near enough snakes, but they should've announced the extension before the deadline passed. Just another technique to get people to spend money.

There was no such warning with this. I'd gladly go back to not having the final items and my donuts back with the chance to whack more snakes to get them traditionally.

How do you open a ticket with them? I spent 50 donuts on an elite license and two days later I lost that and I would like those back. Had I known we would have an extra week I wouldn't have bought two logs and a stump, but whatever. At least those worked so I got what I paid for.

So I spent 15 valuable donuts on A golden homer Buddha. It gave me a mystery box (which is only 6 donuts). Inside that was ONE section of god damn Parking lot worth $175. Seriously? Between that and the server near constantly kicking me off, I'm gonna pretty much be done playing this game. I realize EA is in it to make money and I completely agree with that. But $175 section of parking lot for 15 donuts? I am not going to sink one stickin ' penny into this game.

Add me to the list here. I calculated that I'd have to buy an additional snake generator to get the Sleazy by the morning of May 9th. If I had another week, I would have had plenty of snakes to spare.
I'm not gonna waste my time asking for donuts back. Its a lost cause.
As for them extending it for people who had problems, they didn't extend the Valentine's Day special for everyone who got harp-glitched.

I don't know about you but I sure don't like being lied to! Hence we all feel like we deserve a refund or an acknowlegment of somekind.

If I told you I was going to give you free stuff for a month, and then I actually gave you free stuff for six weeks, you would consider that betrayal? By your logic, a surprise birthday party is also betrayal.

Sorry but you've got it wrong! I see it more like this: If I told you I was going to give you free stuff for a month and at the end of the month you could continue to get more stuff for X amount. You like the stuff so you pay the X amount only to find out soon after you paid you could have had it for free. That would make anybody upset including you! If you can't see this as a problem then you may want to question your own logic.

LOL you people are funny. Did ea force you to spend your donuts on those items? No, you made that decision.

If you care so much about not missing any limited time items, you would have gotten them by now, it's been a freaking month. I got all the whacking day stuff without using any donuts so its not impossible.

Stop blaming ea because you didn't have the persistence to whack and procrastinated instead.

I feel for your guys who did spend donuts in the last hours of the 9th! I was lucky I got the motel before then, but if I was slightly short on the 9th then I would've spent a few donuts too. It was bad enough that they didn't give a specific time to end the event (or at least have a consistent time for every event), but if they were going to extend it then at least 24hrs notice would be appreciated. It makes it look like they're disorganised more than anything else. I would be thinking they did it to trip more people into spending donuts.. or maybe they are disorganised.
