[EA confirmed] Major Bug with % Premium Items. DONT BUY THEM - THEY DONT WORK!

I really think EA's lack of concern is in direct proportion with what they have to pay Fox in licensing. It has be HUGE.

EA they say you visit these forums we all think you don't prove us wrong with a response. Why is this still broke and when is it getting fixed?

I don't care at ALL about this. Which was why I never replied to this. When TSTO gets released on Android, so I can waste my $30 on Donuts, I'm buying decorations for how it looks, not how it helps.

I don't happen to agree with DohMoe on this particular issue, but to say he doesn't have a right to express his opinion here strikes me as wrong-headed. A forum is supposed to facilitate the open exchange of ideas and viewpoints. If you only want to hear opinions that match your own, I'm not sure why you're here.

With that said, I think the bonuses are supposed to be incremental. I know we've all figured out that you can have 80+ brown/blue/pink houses to make a ton of money quick, but I don't believe thats how the developers designed the game to be played. They wanted you to buy the items with the multipliers so that it would take a lot less time to buy the expensive buildings and decorations required at a higher levels (ie. Penitentiary = $50,000+... thats a LOT of brown house farming, especially if you're just a casual player that plays once or twice a day for a few minutes.)

This is a big bug, and its pretty shameful of the app studio developing this to have made this sizeable blunder. If I were Matt Groening I'd be hoping I didn't sign too long of a licensing agreement with EA, or if I did I'd be inquiring whether they could transfer this game to a new studio.

But on the other hand, I'm sure they're making buckets of cash off us, so perhaps they're not too concerned.

Wow... I never really thought about it like that. But you're totally right, most games, if not all, slowly increase the amount of money you make on all items as you progress and need exponentially more money for each new building. Without that added bonus, you'll be level 23 still gaining only $6 and 1xp on a brown house...
Ugh the grievances with EA are ever-growing.

if u can show me other topics were " if I only want to hear opinions that match my own" that would b helpfoul, and I do agree that this is to facilitate the open exchange of ideas n view points like u saed but wat he basecaly said was , I don't care about this bug but when this app goes on android I'm goin to spend money on donuts, I don't see how much that helps, and its nothing personal or anything to DohMoe , but alot of people do care about this and its a big problem to them but myb I shouldn't have posted lol, I'm not here to start a problem just wanted some answers n info about this

I agree it's a problem. Whether it's a big problem -- well, that's a matter of opinion, of course. I can tell you that I've been pestering EA about this issue since early October via their help center without having made much headway other than the response that the problem has been "escalated". I've tried to get them to commit to at least a WAG for a solution date -- no dice.

I believe this is fixed in the next client update, but I have not personally verified it.

I believe around December 5th. On their Facebook page they announced that the game will no longer work older devices on 12/5.

Although I hope the limited edition Christmas items are still available for a little while after Christmas since many people will obviously be getting iTunes gift cards, myself included!
