Was the point of this post to show that it is worthless to ask chat support these kind of questions? And to ask for free donuts for no reason?
Even though the chat support is unreliable most of the time I thought I would share there responses to some of the most burning questions of the community. You never know whether or not they can know certain info. And as for the donuts, in the past people have been given donuts (including me) from chatting with EA support members. It can never hurt to ask. I wasn't being pushy this time either. The Origin 15% discount code was very generous of them.blackeyed5 wrote:

First of all, these were not pointless questions as they have been highly popular among the community these days. I was doing everyone a favor as people tend to chat on EA support for other reasonings like the possibility of Tapped Out 2 as stated in an older thread. Although the info provided by these EA chat support members are deemed unreliable most of the time, you never know what info they may actually know as they seem to have close contact with a specialist team and recieve updates from the developers. And the wait time was said to be like 20-25 minutes so it doesn't look like I was keeping anyone waiting. And also, these EA support members chat with multiple people at once as my friend(doesn't really play anymore) and I both contacted EA support chat at the same time and we were online with the same EA support chat member.- *Editing fail that resulted in a double quote post

That almost makes it worse. While they're placating you about stuff they don't even know the real answers to, they're distracted away from a person who they could potentially really help.0ReganPOOP wrote:

Seconded.
Especially when the help line is for people to request help for technical issues. E.g. Missing items, locked out, donuts not appearing etc.- You do know they chat with several people at the same time no? Please give the topic opener a break. There are worse things in live...... :wink: (and at least he / she still believes in fairy tales.....uhm sorry I meant EA :lol: )
- People should stop posting these ridiculous transcripts. They know as much as you do. No, this was not helpful. It is just taking up useless space on the forum.
