Elixir producing Crop?

I can't remember but did carrots come right away or a few days after during the Easter event? Since we have over a month, they may come later. They may be part of a quest later in the event too.

Activated during part 8 of the main questline during Easter...so far haven't read anything about there being elixir production for this event though
