Don't update until forced that may buy you a few extra days. The 4th of July update probably won't hit till the 3rd or 4th anyway.

Nope, there isn't a countdown clock this time around. Just the date. July 2nd

There is a timer.

If you click "See Prizes" and then the "?" button in the upper right corner the pop-up will tell you how much time remains.

According to my game: 1d 14h 52m 51s

Make sure to do all your parchment puzzles. You can do them all simultaneously, and have all of THOSE prizes in time. Its not the ideal, but at least its something. :)

Yeah typically they don't put the update out till later in the day/evening. Like the above posters have said don't update your app, just make sure auto update isn't on! How far behind r u?

Not too sure on iPad, as I'm on android, but u can change the settings of the app to ask u to download rather auto updating. Just checked it out & on the play store if I go into the Simpsons app, there's a tick box to select auto updates, so u can untick that box. May be the same on iOS???

While the game says the 2nd, the files have Number 1 tasks for the 3rd. So I'll go out on a limb and say that on the 3rd at midnight it will end. I extended the "event that shall not be named" by one day by not updating.
