Feature request: character zoning

I don’t know how feasible this would be, if we could take certain characters and draw zones for them so they can only mingle in those areas(like squidport entertainers, but for Halloween characters, Christmas characters, etc). It’d be cool to keep the right characters in the right areas.
  • Maybe a item where its something like the zombie sandwhich except they are not zombies.
  • I think this is very doable. Have some kind of marker and then have a drop down list that you can select which characters you'd like associated with that marker and then place it in an area where you want them to wonder.

I've always wanted a fence to enclose characters, If they are within it they can't leave it or be assigned tasks that would require them to leave the enclosure. I think your idea is much more doable.
  • Not a fan. Don't like restrictions or the idea of artificially confining characters or NPCS to certain areas. I wouldn't want a Springfield where characters aren't allowed to fully interact with their surroundings. It's counterintuitive to a town-building game.
  • You know, the Family Guy game is a mess, but the one feature I liked was the ability to pick characters up and physically move them. It would be much easier to corral certain (Halloween) characters to one area.
  • Your asking someone that uses the same brown house for multiple characters lol. I would like to see something similiar also though.

I like this. Maybe it could be a device that attracts different character groups.
  • I like this idea. It should only work for NPC’s. I would love to have certain NPC’s zone certain areas. Keep the Halloween NPC’s to the Halloween area and so forth

This was my favorite feature of the Family Guy game before I deleted it. Loved hearing their screams and protests as they were picked up and moved elsewhere! :D

Obviously it is if they made the Zombie Sandwich which is still bringing the zombies towards it. All they'd have to do is make something exactly like that again. Except I rather see the characters spread out not clump together into an orgy lol
