unsolicited freind requests?

yes! me too at least a few a day...., and i thought it was just people finding me on forum. but as I add them, i see they are definitely not from here.

lately I've been searching the forum for their names first. if not on here, i just decline. i'm over 95 friends as is.

It's always been random for me too. Never been a strong correlation with my posting activity

Maybe it's the flu thing that has increased the number of random neighbour requests with this event as like others have said I often get the odd request now and again but I have definitely had many more this event, then again there could be absolutely no logic behind any of it and it is just totally random.

Yes I have had an uncharacteristic share of them as well. So far only one of them is even registered on this forum!

I recently did a purge and am now back up to 100 on main town, and did accept a few unsolicited. So far so good they are visiting. But I am getting a ton of requests.

I get one to three everyday, always have. Mostly new players, under level 30 types. I have gotten a couple of level 939s the last couple of days. I always assume it's just some of you regulars that play multiple accounts or lurkers that see me post here. They aren't any names I recognize. They never post on the forum, not even under "add me". Sometimes I add them and delete someone else. Maybe they need me. ;)

I will say some of you "regulars" surprise me. You have thousands of posts on the forum yet are only like level 102 in the game.

Myself as well, same as what others are experiencing. My guess is for the flu as well.

Since you have a common first name, all someone has to do is type in a few characters, and EA will return a lot of all names that match the pattern. It's a lot easier to get random friends than to type in a specific name. Work smarter, not harder.
