- Haven't spent a donut this event yet. I'm saving to get the ray gun though.
Doing fine. 500+ probes over target for today (10/14). Should be no problem getting the last prize in phase 1.
I'm keeping stats on my craft treats and comparing to what I need, to get what I want. So far I've not crafted anything but the board/nail. Hugo will be first and I'm 238/300, 239/300, 168/250 for that. richardaca969 wrote:
I dont get why people think this or any event is skewed towards having to spend donuts. It'd be IDIOTIC to do that. Ive not spent any donuts on this event itself, and a single treat bag lies between me and the donut torture machine.
This paranoid, ignorant belief that EA are somehow gouging players with skewed events has to stop. It's ridiculous.
I've consistently earned 1000 probes per day since the non-rushed start of the event. Play pretty much every 4hrs. How are you averaging over 1300 probes everyday? I really would like to know since I foresee needing the extra 300 during the last phase of this event.- 4900 probes so far. Got Hugo in my sights. About 2/3 of the way there.
What's with the great pumpkin? Is it worth getting (does it produce?)
I got the pumpkin house last year. Looks like I will get some spooky walls. Last year I could only get the wailing wall. Maybe I can make a better grave yard now.
I keep seeing people have gotten like 30 doughnuts for free. How do I do that?
Give me Witch Marge!!! (no doughnuts) - The 30 free doughnuts are from shooting down the UFO in neighbors towns. It's totally random.

I'm only averaging 760 a day, but then I only collect from the kids twice a day usually. Three times would give me more, but I need my sleep. :)
Don't worry about the last phase yet. Word is that we get +6 instead of +3 on that.
My advice... make a plan to get what you want, track your progress, read the forum, change plan as required.

Thanks Neglecterino,
Piece of cake if we get double points.
I play a lot and run my kids 3 time a day almost everyday. Have generous neighbors and a gun. Don't see a way to get anymore. I was curious how someone was doing it without spending.- Not doing so well. EA is really making this one a grind.
I check in about 3x a day and I'm barely at 33% of the goals for the pumpkin house and Hugo. Are those just entry level prizes that kick off quests, or are they the final objective?
If they're a final objective, I guess I'm doing okay. If they're jut starters, I've got no hope.
My 84 donuts are for Mr. Largo, damnit! Not your fly-by-night cheap decorations! richardaca969 wrote:

Well actually I was poking fun at myself. You are farther along than I am, I just wanted to know how it was going for people who don't spend donuts.richardaca969 wrote:

Well, Easter was skewed. It was nearly impossible to get everything without donuts. Lots of donuts. Whether or not that was unfair is another discussion, but it wasn't realistic to complete for a freemium grinder. Christmas and Valentine's were better, but there are plenty of people who played all the time who missed out on a few wheel items. Again, fair or not is different, but some events have been really hard for people who don't want to pay up. Stonecutters and COC got back a lot of my good will. Halloween is getting even more back. I am not entitled to everything, but I would like a fair chance.- Only 3000 Probes. I play a two or three times a day. I don't expect to get any good prizes.
I refuse to give in and get a "license" to let me get more Probes.
It's been two years since I regrettably bought Donuts -- never again.
