I play 2 towns, one on a Samsung Galaxy S5 and one on a Galaxy S3. The S5 rarely crashes, but is a huge town. The S3 crashes frequently on a significantly smaller town. The hardware seems to matter significantly. Iphone 4 users that are friends have some crashes - but 5 and 6 have less. Since land was added and SH added it seems the older devices struggle and lag more. Friends that were experiencing almost unusable crashes and lag seemed to find that a complete removal of the app and a reload from the store and then updates solved a lot of the issue. I found that when I had a year of updates and events and updates on I was lagging, and a wipe seemed to eliminate all of that. Just a suggestion.
