Game crash bug

First, this game is by far and above my favorite ios game! I am running the latest version of ios 6.0.1 on an iphone 5 with 32gb. Currently level 23, with the quest chains as max as they can go, besides the "daily" quests like cletus and grandpa. When i have all of my characters set to 12 hr timers and the tasks are complete, I can open the church, then i can collect dollars from the church, but as soon as I click on homer the game crashes. I try double click soft reset, and full reset of the phone both shutting down and resetting it. Also, this seems to be most frequent following this last update. Before current update homer was still assignable to a task after a game reset. Now he is an insta crash. Secondly, very similar problem with the school completing 12hr timers, but far less frequently then the church.

I really am a huge fan! I have put many hours, and a few bucks into this. I can answer any additional questions you may have to try to isolate and correct this bug!
