Game crashes

I've been crashing since the update. It's the craziest thing! I've been playing for well over a year and a half, and I've noticed that, with some events, it works fine, with others, it's nearly impossible to play without getting kicked out. I wish they'd just fix it and leave it alone... But that would probably mean no more events.

*sigh*

after I unlocked alien corn wandering in my town (past the point where Lisa tells me to drop seeds), the game seemed to slow down scrolling wise and there was a noticeable lag during friend visits (donut spun longer)It crashed one time and I got a Bart screen once. (around 8am eastern)...I don't usually do friend visits then (I'm usually in the 11am eadtern range) so I don't know if the lag is usual for this time of day (not nearly as bad as XMAS 2014 but will kerp track)

Every time I try to visit friends game crashes.

I have the friends visit crash on Kindle. It works with lags on my Samsung S5. Didn't try I phone....

No lagging on my Samsung Galaxy s5. But still Crashing as soon as i try and visit friends. So sorry everyone :(

prior to this event, I could visit 65-70 neighbors in 15 minutes, during this event it takes me 15-20 minutes to visit 30 neighbors (well 35, but the extra 5 are people who still have floating money and those towns load quickly). It's gotten so I do the first 30(a-j) on day one and the second thirty (z-j) on day 2 (I don't drop seeds during friend visits so it's not like I'm favoring one set over the other)

it's because they made the town entrance point the Monsarno building and the screen has to show everyone leaving the building before you can tap anywhere in the town

I also had one crash back to the homepage again.

Try resetting your network: wireless router, modem, etc.

Tried all normal troubleshooting here, nothing resolves. Just have to keep ending task on the app or restarting device when that doesn't work. App isn't crashing for me exactly, I get lots of black squares on friend visits to start, then if I don't exit my TouchWiz Home process will crash.

This is on android 4.0.4 samsung galaxy ace 2.

Workaround that seems to work for me is force close the app before starting in the first place.
