- I’ve had to delete, reinstall, and download the update twice now. It’s getting pretty frustrating.
It seems to be a problem with Apple devices. - 4junk3000New SpectatorPROGRESS!
At first, only my iPhone could login successfully; the iPad had eternal spinning donut.
I uninstalled/reinstalled on the iPad, and was able to login. Then i got a Bart screen.
Trying to log in again, i got the spinning donut. HOWEVER, i fully closed the app (swipe off the recent apps screen) then opened it THROUGH THE APP STORE. This worked successfully.
Maybe going through the App Store will work for you? Try it! - I was eager to try this suggestion, but unfortunately, it did not change anything for me. I still have a constantly spinning donut, no matter what I do. Given the number of comments about this problem, I’m guessing that it’s enough of a widespread issue that the developers are going to have to push out a software fix at some point. Maybe they’ll throw in a free Xylem to thank us for our patience…

At this time, updating to the new app store version looks to resolve the issue for users who hadn't run into it yet, but does not retroactively fix the issue if you were already affected.
If you are currently stuck at the "spinning donut" screen and you're not playing on an anonymous account (account is linked to an EA account), fully uninstalling the game and reinstalling should allow you to resume playing.
Again, if you play on an anonymous account (don't use an EA account), uninstalling and reinstalling will wipe your game's progress, so please continue to hang tight while we investigate the issue further. " - Thanks Graham, uninstalling worked after this update.

- THis sucks. I have been unable to play this game for days. But it finally worked after uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
