I am working on all my common egg prizes so every 100 uncommon eggs from town tapping goes into friends baskets. The 400 uncommon eggs from a full basket in my town I will use toward an uncommon prize. Just got Father Sean (?) on my first 500 gold eggs :D.
My point is though that it benefits everybody to place baskets in your town and to use them in other people's. I don't expect anyone to buy baskets with donuts though. I expect most people get them as much as I do from bunny tapping which is 1-3 a day. Though my first day I didn't get any on one of my towns.
You seem to assume everyone gets 1-3 baskets a day. Th odds are 0.06 and 0.03%. Do you not understand it is impossible to carry out your proposal every day?
Yep and baskets seem to be getting more sparse. I haven't had one since Thursday.
