- stevieortNew SpectatorI'm on the iPad3 and have been unable to recover since 2/16. I've been relaunching my game non-stop since Monday.

- mwdaltonNew SpectatorJust got back in, and got about 900 donuts after tapping through hundreds of bonus levels.
I used an iPhone 5, that seems to do the trick for most people. You just gotta find a friend or someone who has one!
I borrowed one from a friend for about an hour, installed the app, and left it on the load screen for about 15 mins, then it gets you to accept donuts (it took me about 30mins to accept them all) then I was back in. I haven't tried to get back into my iPad yet, but I assume I will be able to. The infinite loop seems to have broken!
Edit: During the 15mins on the load screen, you'll either need to tap the screen periodically, or turn auto lock to 'never' in the general settings on the iphone. - been locked out for days now, quite annoying when i got homer yelling "come play with me" and my notifications when i cant actually do anything
- also, just to add, i've tried all the suggestions, closing out and opening it, disabling the auto lock and letting it run its course, uninstalling and reinstalling, and sitting there for 18 minutes (yeah i got bored and used a stopwatch) keeping the a[[ open by doing circles on the screen with the auto lock on. none of it worked.
- Frozen out for two days now. Update downloaded and same old awfull harp noise. 3 million on stupid things that provide no money and an avantgarde restaurant! Really!and no voice for shauna! You suck ea!
- I emailed AppAdvice.com today (tips@appadvice.com) about this issue today in hopes that maybe they'll do a small story on this issue (and EA's lack of response/acknowledgement). If the poll is to be believed, over 200 people have confirmed to have been affected by this. If even half of us emailed AppAdvice, I'd imagine they'd publicize it at some point.
So, email tips@appadvice.com. Keep it brief and respectful. Don't go on a rant about how crappy EA is - that's pretty well known already.
edit: Also emailed tips@toucharcade.com as well. The more we make it known that there's an issue, the more likely it is that it'll get fixed. - Was just pushed the iOS 6.1.2 update. No help. Tried the listen to the harps for 15 minutes several times and the app just crashes sometime around the 15 minute mark. Subsequent launches are the same result. I can play anonymously and I presume that I could start a new account from there if I wanted.
- Send emails and tweet @EA too. I agree that the bigger the stink we raise the quicker our squeaky wheel will get greased. Otherwise, I'm afraid that EA might be content to let us all hang until the app is updated in March to end the Valentines theme
