- I started playing right in the middle of Halloween 2013 and completed it and every event since except Easter which was the first event I spent donuts on and still didn't even come close to completing.....stupid wheel
- brogames111New SpectatorIf by "complete" you mean acquired all the non premium items, then yes, I've completed all the events since I started playing; with the exception of last Easter.....got most of the items, even Father Sean; however the odds of getting Shari Bobbins were astronomical without spending donuts. I'm a totally Freemium player, never spend a single delicious donut to speed up or complete a task or event.
I feel the biggest leg up one can get, is to cultivate a great list of friends! Friends always seems to play a big part in events. ..... Let me take this opportunity to say... Thx Neighboreenos, you're the best!! - Yes, I've completed all events I've played without using donuts to rush anything.
- Visiting every 8 hours really isn't enough, try every 4-5. Once when you wake up, once in the middle of the day, then once before bed. It's also best to visit 100 active neighbours every day.
- If you play lots it's easy to complete event without using donuts
I have completed every event and never speeded though them by playing every 4 or so hours .
Only events I did not fully complete was the wheel events which was down to luck and not down to me not playing enough . - I used to use a few donuts to get ahead in the events but now i just dont bother as the cost of donuts specially with the amount needed is getting too much to just squander away willy nilly so i know play the game as best as i can without using donuts, although it is A LOT of work and very time consuming it is always possible :) You just need to stay on top of the game
Like this event everything was around the 4hr mark so i was setting timers on my phone to remind me to check in so i could get on top of everything :) Doing this i managed to get everything the event offered without too much pain n suffering  - 4junk3000New Spectator1. Have at least 40 neighbors who play daily
2. Log in to update event specific tasks every 4 hours.
3. Read the forum daily for tips, like when things will start or end, which character triggers a sequence of tasks, or how much are the daily minimum collection quantities.
I have never rushed a task with donuts. I would never waste such a valuable currency just to appease my impatience.
This particular event, I could see by comparing my collection quantities, that I was nowhere near the high totals of most forum regulars, but still way ahead of the minimum daily needed. I had no problem acquiring every prize for this event following these 3 tips.
