Yes, it did. And Neo's right. The country on there may have changed. I do remember a post about it somewhere.

No it's a new card,prepaid visa set up specifically for iTunes. Does there have to be money in the account to even install free apps. No money in it ATM brought scratchers lol. I was hoping it would tomorrow when I put money on it.

It's happened to me when I owe money and it won't accept my payment method so I had to use a different cc

I had a problem similar to yours. I bought doughnuts for my girlfriend as a surprise and then tried to buy myself some. It wouldn't let me by the second set of doughnuts because my credit card company suspected fraud and put a hold on my card. After about an hour my credit card company called to confirm the purchase and everything worked out okay after that. Not sure if this is what is going on with you, but may be something similar.

It's weird that you can't download free apps as you don't need a card on your account. Have ur tried rebooting. Sleep+home button?.

Ask you mom/missus if you can use there card. And then swap back.

Check if u ain't accidentally switched on a pairental control

Check your card hasn't been blocked

Are you getting an error message? Or just failing to start download?
