How do you get all four player to "fight"?

Next time around I see them, and their the one fighter, I'm going to goto krustyland or neighbors and back to see if they switch?

I had a yellow monster and sent two to fight it, but did not get two times 150 film. I got 210.

I think it has something to do with the level of your Construction yard. Im at level 4, only blue and yellow monsters, one fighter at the time.

The monsters (should) spawn at a rate of two every 4 hours, the type of monster (I.e. how many fighters can attack it) is random, it's not related to anything like levels of crafting or MAG

The level of the construction yard in my town has had no affect.
Add: And don't be tempted to rush a fight with donuts. I did this earlier and got a message to wait x amount of time for the next monster.

Looks like it's random. Just got a yellow monster, and when I was starting the fight I had a "bonus slot" available. Unfortunately, no available fighters.

The following is a quote from Alissa's article at tstoaddicts regarding the monster you can fight with 2 characters: "... it's random. There's NOTHING you can do in your game to trigger it. It'll just happen on it's own. So don't freak out about it, when it happens, it happens."

It doesn't look that way but it would be a better system. I believe the gates just offer options for gate sizes. Not happy with the difficult alignment of the new fences by the way. Maybe there should be a thread for that.

I've had 1 gate upgrade, and all I can see that it did was exactly that, upgraded the gate :/

Go figure, I'm averaging 2 every 4 hours in my main town, even when I sleep and wake up I only have 2 waiting. Just went into one of my other towns, was there yesterday? Anyway I had nine battles and that town has no progression. Will check some of my other towns later.
