It depends... Due to some problems like the harp which left players outside of their towns for weeks you should give them at least a week or two before deleting them. I do it if they havent logged in for at least a month.. which reminds me that I have to clean a bit before the new update...

I only removed 1 for inactivity. There was no date, so I assumed it was expired, or past the limit that the game will show you.

yup i usually wait a month just in case of lockouts.. If i know thier having issues then I just wait it out..

Yeah, part of it is I want to have active neighbors for whacking day, someone who'll visit my town every day and help me earn whatever the special currency is for the event. But I don't want to randomly ditch someone who's having a harp problem or similar, especially if they've been active in my town during Halloween and Christmas. What to do, what to do....

I've been harped about 6 times so I understand the headache. But I'll still delete anyone who hasn't been active for over a week.

How inactive does a neighbor have to be before you delete them?

I just checked my friends and none of them have dates for their last log in. I know a bunch of them play everyday.

So I'd wait until the major bugs are fixed before removing friends.

I usually wait a week or more. But right now with all the issues, I may wait a month.

To me it depends on the situation if you haven't played in weeks/months and it's just regular game play I don't care, however if there is an even like whacking day happening or about to happen and you aren't a daily player you are gone.(the exception to this is if there is a serious glitch going on then I make exception for example I haven't kicked anyone yet until I see what happens from EA). Or if I really like your town you can stay no matter how inactive, as it inspires me to do better.

I just cleaned up my friends list... I have to admit that there are a few that haven't logged in for 2 weeks but I'll wait. What disturbed me was a friend that had a really nice 27 lvl town and now is back to 1. In any case... I think I'll go friend hunting tonight :oops: :(

I usually wait for a big update and give them a week, if they are still inactive then it's time for some new neighbors!

I give them at least a month. But with Whacking Day possibly starting tomorrow, I'm deleting anyone who isn't playing daily. I plan on giving it a couple days after the event starts, and anyone who hasn't logged on in a week or so is probably getting dropped. I hate to do it, but I want as many daily players as I can get during a friend visiting event .

1week. Unless there Is a problem with the game. And I like to add the people from the fourms so I no if there's something wrong with there game or they have just got bored of the game!

Dumb question: how do you delete friends? I only have two Im looking at, but I know both of them either got harped or reset and gave up.
