Although the event has just started, has anyone else been thinking about getting a head start in Act 2? I'm probably going to save all 199 shovels for the next act as long as I can get all the Act 1 prizes! What about you? :D

Hmm, thanks for bringing that up. I feel like I'm doing exceptionally well at digging so I may win all prizes like halfway through? I might do that.

By the time I've finished Act 1 I'll probably have 199 ready for Act 2.

I will go for all the prizes first before any hoarding takes place.

As soon as I get the last prize I'm going to stop digging until I save up 199. Then I will just dig to use what I earn over 199 so as not to waste them.

I'll save as many as I can toward the limit, but since the pattern's effectiveness has stalled in my game, I doubt I'll get Baby T-Rex much before the end.

It's pointless to use them after getting the T-rex. All accumulated gems are lost at the start of Act II, at least what I've seen.

I'm currently using most of mine to attain more crafting materials but I'm trying to save a few to get a bit of a head start on act 2 so maybe around the 100 mark saved.
