- Excellent help.
I also use live chat....usually easiest way to get help.
This probably ought to be a sticky thread atm :D - Useful info that is needed on regular basis.
This should be a sticky! - Live chat sounds like the way to go. I chose call, and they SlyDialed me. Twice

Same! :D I agree!- Their LiveChat is worse than useless. I got a guy named Ranjan just now who directed me back here for help!! I already tried you guys! It's a TECHNICAL problem.
I know this will sound racist, but I think someone with a better command of English would be more useful than someone outsourced in India. - ZennGlenn10 years agoSeasoned Newcomer

Of the few occasions that I've ever needed to contact them I've used both w/success, although phone for 'end game support' department results in best outcome... and, while on 'technical topics', I always very much like to point out there really is only one 'race', that being the Human Race; our only actual differences are gender, culture & ethnicity, also among some highly varying physical & mental capacities... so the actual terminology is ' ethnicity /ethnicism'... just my two-cents for Summer Sunday School (Tap ball Rule62 - 'underwear is optional' also applies in attendance) - My experience with technical support was that they were pretty useless as well. Well, useless but polite. The first guy I talked to tried his best, but decided to set the progress of my game back many levels without telling me, then broke off the chat. I spent a lot of time and premium currency trying to get back to the same place, only to have a freeze up again. I called technical support back, and got a guy who even more useless, tried to help for 20 minutes before telling me that it was a "technical issue ", and that's why he could not fix it (um, aren't you called "technical "support?).He told me that he put in my number for a call back, since I said I was having difficulty getting to the call back link on my mobile phone, but no one ever called me back. In the end, the only way I was able to resolve the issue was waiting out the eight hours for The glitch to progress its course ( it was a timed task ), so the glitch is still there and has not been patched for over two years ( from the sounds of the posts about it ).
- I've only had a reason to try to contact them in the last couple of weeks. But I have been trying these steps for two weeks... at various times of day...and the ONLY option EVER available to me is Answers HQ, which is no help, and which, as the OP notes, is not really contacting EA directly.
- Recently when I have tried it will show as if I am being connected to someone to help answer my problems.
But it just says you are being connected to a game advisor and the wait is apparently about 5 minutes. And then it has a orange button that says complete. I tried waiting and nothing, then I pressed complete and nothing. Is it buggy or do I have to wait longer then what it says. Kind of irritating. As I never used to have trouble getting a rep to chat. - wadebear9 years agoRetired Hero

If you request a chat session a chat window is supposed to open.
When you press the Complete button you end the chat session, so don't press that until you're done.
Try reloading the page if a chat window doesn't open.
