I agree I got harpes for the first time today but cus this game is so buggy I'm not that bothered that I can't get it. The past week I haven't even bothered with giving all my characters tasks. It's a shame tho this game had alot of potential. All there doing is pushing out unfinished updates where half there customers can't login. I'll check if it work tomorrow if not ill give it a week then I just start a new. It doesn't bother me to start again

Before I upgraded to get my iPhone 5 what I did was I went to a local AT&T store that was not busy and I installed TSTO on it(stores demonstrator) and loaded my game. I walked around for like 15 minutes and came back and the game was un-harped I closed it out and deleted the app from the stores phone and opened it on my phone.


This is important: If you do this make sure of 2 things.

1. right after installing TSTO go in the phones settings and log out your itunes info

2. make sure the phones audio button is set to off :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Just a little side note because I remember a while ago somebody saying something about this:

Did you know that if you delete this game from an iPhone and do not log out that the next person can come along and download the game and play as you? Before you scoff, think about how many times you've deleted the game and reinstalled it from the app store. How often do you have to log in?

While they won't be able to purchase anything without your password they can sure as heck play your game and spend all your donuts.

So...point is...for those using a demo phone to get back in? Be sure you log out of the game (Origin) and then delete the app before walking away from it.

I'm not all that worried about the harpies anymore, I've got real life friends who I can borrow their phones. I don't know why I didn't think of that before :roll: lol

I got bent out of shape because some trolls were taking shots at people giving genuine help and that was something I felt I wanted to say. But you are right normally I ignore the trolls but not in this instance.

Would it not be a little weird if you used a demo to solve your harpies, I mean in desperate times i suppose but i would have myself a little laugh if i saw some1 in an apple store waiting beside an iphone 5 with the simpsons game loading screen, then id be like...oh right this happened to me once, Iv been locked out before.

So far, I have found this forum to be tame compared to others I have been to. There is a fansite for The Sims called More Awesome Than You that I frequent. The people there go out of their way to be nasty and treat anyone with a valid question like dirt. At least there is a kinder element here who are willing to help others. I applaud the Harp helpers.

Anyway, it's not worth paying any attention to the haters. This is the internet and it's full of 30 year old virgins in their mama's basement. They simply need to get laid.

I tried to find someone with a 5 but no luck so the store was my last desperate attempt. And at that time was not 100% sure of the cure. That is why I updated my phone after I new the fix worked. I wasnt really ready at that time to upgrade but I figure since the 5 fix works better to have one at home. :thumbup:
