If you were in Krustyland when opening the Mystery Box it seems that. It is a unique item but doesn't know you own it while in krustyland it only checks for krustyland buildings. My guess is you could possibly get a few duplicate things in the mystery box this way. If you happened to win something unique while in Krustyland... I wonder if this would happen with any of the characters ?

Sorta like switching devices and getting duplicate items you can only get once?
