- I play on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, so I can't give a personal opinion about the Amazon Fire. My sister plays TSTO on her Amazon Fire, and she really enjoys it (her first tablet). I know that the Amazon store is limited in games that you can download, as we just got my husband that tablet on Prime Day for $33 - I think, but it DOES have TSTO. He said that he is very impressed with the quality & speed of the Amazon Fire, especially with the price. We just got the 8 gb Fire tablet, but you can insert an SD card and save downloaded apps onto your SD card by following the instructions under the questions & answers on the Amazon Fire tablet page. Anyway, it's now $50, but I don't know that you could get less expensive than an Amazon Fire tablet.

I currently play on a iPad Pro 12.9. It's awesome. Love the huge screen
Well you can't get more inexpensive than that
Lol, nah dude. Gotta go with the pro. I mainly got it for drawing since I'm an artist. But playing Tapped Out on it is quite amazing.
I was kidding sarcastically by the way lol I totally agree with you on the Pro. I'm looking forward to the day I can afford to get one primarily to see how good TO looks on it.- 4junk3000New SpectatorI just looked on fleabay and saw at least two new Android tabs running KitKat on a quadcore for $35 shipped. If my Nexus7 '12 tanked today, that's probably what I'd buy.
They WERE pink. I hope that's not a problem.

has to be a tablet??? I'd look into prepaid phones and just connect to wifi if size is not a big factor.shanemadrid wrote:

I too love my iPad Pro, but I have the 9.7 (the 12.9 is just too big for me). It handles my 5 Springfields well with a minimum of crashing, which seems to happen only when EA's servers are performing poorly for everyone, to judge by the posts here.
I don't really grasp why it's desirable to have dedicated devices for each Springfield. In my case I would probably lose track of them.- this one even has the futurama tie in

If you wanted something cheap, it doesn't get cheaper than free. Check your local banks, and see if they have any promotions that give you a few Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" tablet for new accounts. I've seen this promotion from various banks over the years.
I currently have free checking, so I don't really want to switch banks.
Plus I don't think they do that around here. With the university and all the students they don't really need to (or something), because I never see "Open a checking account and get a free (whatever)" in the newspaper. - wadebearRetired Hero

I became disenchanted with eBay years ago after repeated bad experiences. Sellers who never sent the item, items received damaged (then you have to go through a whole rigmarole to get a refund), bidding that goes over the retail price of a new item for a used item... It's just too much of a hassle. I'd rather spend a little more money and get something new from a real store.
I actually prefer buying locally for that matter. If we don't support our local stores they'll go out of business. (Can you imagine having to buy everything on line?) It's one thing to buy on line to get a 75% discount over what the local stores sell, but HAVING to buy on line?
Then there's the return issue. If I buy it locally and it's broken out of the box (it's happened) I can just take it back. In fact my husband bought a laptop several years ago and had to take it back because the power connector was broken. It would have been weeks on the turnaround if he'd bought it on line. Come to think of it, I bought a tablet last year and took it back. It had great specs for a reasonable price, then I opened it up and checked to see how long I should charge the battery before I turned it on for the first time and discovered WHY it was so cheap with great specs: No smart charging. If you left it plugged in too long you could overcharge the battery and kill it. I've had that happen to devices I've bought in the past. So it went back in the box and back to the store. I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A instead. It was ok at first but it's bogged down now. - wadebearRetired Hero
