I say no. There are no "rules" for this games therefore cheating can occur. Is it unethical, well that's a different questions, but no I don't think it's unethical either.

No, people use in game glitches all the time. Mario Kart 7 there was a short cut that skipped 2 laps - didn't stop people from trying to use it (been patched a long time now).Same with speed runners of classic NES/SNES games. There's glitches where you can skip levels, worlds. Someone beat the Ocarina of Time in like 20 minutes (as child link too), so then there's that.If it was not intended, then it should be patched (see Mario Kart 7)

With hundreds of SQT come thousands of xp. With all that xp you level up and get free doughnuts. I see no problem with it. EA has had months to fix this and if they are okay with it, then so am I. Now, hacking the game to get unlimited doughnuts would be cheating by my standards. But do I care if people do it, no. But that's just me.

I was just explaining in another thread why I thought stackables weren't a "glitch." (That being that it's predictable. You can replicate the results in any town. A glitch to me is a weird thing that happens sometimes and you can't control it.)
But, the permanently possessed character some players got during Halloween was certainly a glitch, and allowed some people to get ridiculous amounts of goo (and the bonus donuts that came with it) and I don't think they were cheating by collecting all that goo.

I had that glitch, but I wasn't the only one to benefit. my neighbours did very well out of it. I even put it out on the Forum asking people to pm me if they wanted more gremlins. It's not cheating, its a game and its the luck of the draw if you get a good one. :D

so if i have a glitch that allows me to get the prize i want from a mystery box if i got a mystery box in a mystery box then that's ok?

but i have a feeling that posting something like this on here would be a violation and considered hacking and the post would be removed

Of course it would be ok, what else would you do, a) enjoy or b) email EA about it! But after my glitch I swear they made me pay, because for about two weeks after I only got one paltry bomb thing from E Marts scratch R. :cry:

I think I know what you're talking about, I've seen someone mention something about it. I've never gotten it to work, though. (Even tried borrowing an idevice and it didn't seem to work.) So yeah, either it is a glitch some people have or I'm doing something wrong when trying to replicate the results.
Seeing as how those boxes are so full of misery, I wouldn't begrudge someone being able to get good stuff once in awhile.

the old one for ios devices has been fixed.

you actually need 2 devices to be able to do it.
its not that often that i get a mystery box in a mystery box and even when i do it takes a lot of patience to be able to get the prize i want.
some people would say its not worth it.
I am pretty sure EA knows about this and they probably don't care because of how much work it actually is and not worth their time to try to fix it.
