Jebediah Springfield Statue Trick Gone?

It's still there as my granddaughter has just done it yesterday.
However it was quite frustrating because it appeared to stop working at first, she had to do it a few times (about a dozen times) to succeed. Ridiculous.
She did it with the task list open.

Maybe if he was tapping too fast he tapped right through the message. Have him check his inventory and see if it is there (I can't remember if it puts it in the intentory or has you place it right away.

I thought homer had to be on his play with his Mypad task to do it I got it 10 taps when he was on said task?

maybe having 2 towns is reason you cant. games sense your name or something that pertains to you and you already have one.

i have 1 game and got it right on first try he was outside whacking snakes. i tap hime . while task bar was up i tapped him, but not in snake whack mode, 10 times got donuts AND statue.

i tried 10 times on others with no affect.

D'oh! I realised that after I'd uploaded... but thought nahhh no-one will notice that... clearly I was naive!

Just seen this thread and tried today, was not within 10 taps but it indeed worked with around 15ish :)

Yeah, also you can't sell the statue anyway. :p

Created a second town just to try this. It still works. Took like 30 taps but I got it. Helps if you zoom in on Homer.
