- its easier to earn money after you finished MM, so id go with see my vest burns :D
- Personally, I've been working on MM for a long time... I am on the last lvl and am half through. It's always a priority to me when nothing else is going on. That said, I'm focusing on my Redwood. I can't wait to see it grown!
- I'm going with Lisa now, but the MM didn't interest me at all, ever. I have it at level 2 or sth, not planning on taking care of it too soon. But I like the idea of the tree and its appearance, it gives a lot to one's town, aesthetically :)
- Whenever I get sad from missing things like the recent inventory glitch and the daily challenge glitch, I need to look at my completed Money Mountain and be thankful for occasionally being in the right place at the right time.
- I still havent finished completing the money mountain.
Ive only gotten to level 3 of the redwood so far - anaquarindNew Spectator

I was all excited about that rate of pay, too. Then my son burst that bubble ... he figured that if Burns Monty Moneybags works the one-hour task for 24 hours a day, he makes $5,040 ... and it costs $5.5 million to get the skin by finishing the mountain.
So my son said "But look on the bright side -- it will only take 1,091 days to break even. "
Of course, with my awesome multiplier (about 500% when I take all my multipliers out of storage), it takes a lot less time ... my math skills are horrendous, but I think that means it would pay about $30,000 a day ... so I could theoretically break even in 183 days, as long as I don't mind setting him to work every hour for 24 hours a day for six months. After that, it's all gravy. :)
When you have that much money, it's all about XP. It's the super-premium XP, and the fact that you get XP from upgrading the MM itself that is the tipping point for me. If I'm blowing cash on Bloodmobiles/Rat Traps anyways, better to put it towards the MM instead. Sure, you don't get the money from sell-back, but in the end you'll end up with the XP bonus from the mountain, and the super-premium character as well. chillpill91 wrote:

Yes, I blew off the money mountain for a long time. I was not one of the fortunate players who was able to take advantage of earlier glitches like the stacking handshakes etc. and I don't have a huge load of premiums that give me a ridiculously high multiplier so it really felt like a waste of cash. But recently I've managed to build a buffer of in game cash and my rate of earning has been improved (SH hidden multiplier will do that!) so now I have started to chip away at it incrementally. It's much less painful to do a little bit at a time, and it's not as if there is a time limit.- When talking about visuals I prefer the World's Largest Redwood, mostly because you could design a tree area around it when you use it as a centerpiece.
If you don't care about this and just want to finish one of these tasks plus invest in future cash flow (negligible in my opinion since both these items are money sinks), go with the Money Mountain. Monty Moneybags gives a 3x multiplier to task payout plus you'll only have to worry about setting jobs for one character. - anaquarindNew Spectator

I did it the hard way too, no glitches or multipliers at the time. Just finished up and caught up with all the levels. It was the first time I'd started to accumulate game cash without a particular need, so I just started chipping away at it. As noted above, the MM seemed to take much longer for some reason. - Although I'm not working on either right now (need to get to max game level and build up my cash reserves), I'll be going for Money Mountain first. I may never do the Redwood. MM looks really cool and gives the skin for Mr Burns and the tree gives you nothing for your five million plus! NOTHING!!! It's just a big tree and there are plenty of trees in the game already.
EA designers are getting really lazy. Seriously.
