Monorail Takedown: Update is safe, but who has problems they're not solved

got home and tried to access the game via my iPad and now it's looking for an update that i have to download to play and yet the Apple store has no update. has it been pulled?

I updated I have no problems what are you all talking about????????

I havent had any issues with the update. Its probably on your end. This shouldnt be stickied.

That's the most.....

...and I'm not going to say the rest. But what I will say, would you rather have thousands of similar posts from players who's lost progress in the new update ready to pitchfork EA for a crappy/sloppy update, or one sticked post to warn players of a potential update glitch and keep such posts to a minimum? In my opinion, I prefer the latter than the former. Even if you don't have a problem with the update, 10 other players will, if the update is buggy.

thats fair enough. I hate the whining. Especially over a free game.

Several people lost everything purchased during level 57 and thier progress for level 57. That includes premium items and all quest progression. Some got some of the items back but still lost progression...it's sort of a mixed bag.

Which is why I'm waiting for one of the two things to happen: A forced update, or a green light from EA, even if I'm only level 56. Normally, I tend to wait for forced updates so that I'm ensured there's nothing buggy about that update. Unfortunately with this method, I end up missing a few days into a major event. This time, I've already played my part, so I see no problem with updating right away, only to see enough people posting about glitches to convince me to wait for the all clear.

Is it safe to download the update or should I remain hiding?
