Mystery Box: Allison Taylor and Erik issue

So what would be the best course of action for those who don't have Allison Taylor and Erik like I do? Should we try to get them in YMB first before opening The Van Houtens Mystery Box? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

If you're planning on getting the STEM Conference Center from the Yearbook as well as Allison Taylor, then grab the STEM first because it comes right before her in the list.
Yeah, I made that mistake. Now I gotta rotate all the way back around the list.

Get them from the YMB, because you're not actually going to get them from the event box.
