Need to be able to 'cut' and 'paste' segments
I've thought the same thing while trying to move areas with fencing and trees the way I like them. It would be nice if you could just weld all of it together and then pick it all up and move it in one...

I agree, would make it so much easier to design and redesign. Pretty sure I've voted yes in the area select thread as well.
