Never mind.

1. The cash, XP, etc. that pops out when you tap a building/character IS auto-collected, it just takes a few seconds.

2. Ugh, YES! I don't understand why it doesn't select the thing we are DIRECTLY tapping. The way it's currently programmed is not at all helpful.

True, but I must have said it wrong if you took that meaning. Sorry about that. The point is that since it is auto collected that it should be lower priority so we can tap the important things, like character and buildings.

Does that make more sense? :)
  • I agree with both points, though I'd probably take #1 a little further and say that the money, etc. should just be collected immediately without dropping on the ground. Might help a little with lag sometimes, too.

Interesting idea. :) I agree, sort of? Let it drop, just so you can see what dropped, but only for a few seconds. :)

Love the ideas coming through already, thanks! Listen, EA. I only want this game that I love to be the best it can be!
  • I oppose these "sanity saving" ideas that would mean less tapping. It's called Tapped Out for a reason, after all.

Oh okay, yes I get what you're saying. That would be much more convenient.

    2. The logic that selects an item you want to work with while editing your town needs to be updated. When you tap on a fence directly, even when zoomed right in, please don't have it select a tree 6-7 blocks away.

This i do agree with, the selection of items to store is annoying that it doesnt select the item you actually want and can take a few attempts to get the one you want

As for the storing the item next to it, i do like that new addition is a proper time saver

Someone HAD to say it. :)

In all seriousness to other tappers, think of it as directing your taps where you want them to be, rather than just where the game wants them to be. We've talked about all these things before, and there was plenty of agreement. So where are all of you that agree?

Thanks for your snide comment. Perhaps you could contribute to the conversation instead of being nasty about it. This is to try to get this organized so it might make some waves at EA and perhaps help the game.

I haven't seen you be so snide in the millions of "we need more land!" threads.... This is why I am beginning to really hate contributing to this forum.
