1. The cash, XP, etc. that pops out when you tap a building/character IS auto-collected, it just takes a few seconds. 2. Ugh, YES! I don't understand why it doesn't select the thing we are DIRECTLY...

True, but I must have said it wrong if you took that meaning. Sorry about that. The point is that since it is auto collected that it should be lower priority so we can tap the important things, like character and buildings.
Does that make more sense? :)
Oh okay, yes I get what you're saying. That would be much more convenient.
