- You do realize that your list for older players is longer than the new one, right? Also, you got many of those old items for free whereas newer players pay donuts. I didn't know the game existed when it first came out, because I didn't have an ipad then and although I'm a Simpsons fan only started trying out mobile games last November. So yeah, I am pleased that new players get to play catch up a bit, but don't think older players are left out either.
- I don't believe comparing to a new game like Family Guy is fair to do. You haven't seen what will happen with them in 2-3 years.
- bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerAt least Tapped Out doesn't have that stupid chance system where you need to collect items in order to unlock character or costume. It can take anywhere from a week or a month (depending on the rarity or the quantity of the item) just to unlock one character in TQFS.

I have played this game since day one. That was when there were so many downloads they closed the app but those already in got a nice head start fro a few weeks.
One thing Im disappointed about is the lack of new items for those that have played every year and already have existing items. For someone brand new you make out like a bandit with tons of new items albeit they cost donuts. I wouldnt mind paying donuts for some new items.
Do any of you long time players agree or is this just me?
Key words: "I wouldn't mind paying donuts". Like you, I am fortunate enough to have so much disposable income to throw around that I have the luxury of buying imaginary donuts on an imaginary Mayan figure for my imaginary town. Many, many people are not as fortunate as you and I are. Frankly, I "wouldn't mind paying millions of real life dollars for a new yacht. Unfortunately, I am not lucky enough to have that much disposable income. ;)
Consider yourself blessed. Begrudging others for having to work harder than you had to work, in order to have what you have sounds a bit odd to me. Or maybe this is " just me".richardaca969 wrote:
So you're complaining about a game giving you free stuff?
Dude you seriously have to stop with your self-righteous posts. People will complain about anything, and that's fine. But calling every person out just because you don't like it is getting old. This isn't meant to be a call out and take how you like it, but your negative posts on complaints are getting as old as the complaint posts you hate so much.... :roll:annettemarc wrote:

It's not just you.richardaca969 wrote:

No, you probably should read it before commenting, then you will have a clue what I'm talking about.Ningyo42 wrote:

I do partially agree with your statement. But I guarantee family has cranked out more in the small time it's been online than the simpsons did its first entire year. Now for longevity time will tell if that's a good move or not.bluyoshi88810 wrote:

A week I give you but I've never taken a month to unlock something. Plus it gives you something to do while they build/ make new stuff.annettemarc wrote:

This makes no sense to me, I wasn't putting anyone down.
