No Summer Event?
I'm all Evented-Out at the moment. Personally I wouldn't mind a few weeks off. Krustyland or Squidport expansion would be ok as they could be played at leisure.

Technically Krustyland didn't launch until like the end of July early August - so there could still be an annual expansion.
While the Squidport update occupied June, Krustyland was later on, so still possible 2.0 could launch. Considering the lack of updates for it, I'd say there's a solid chance of a newer expansion of content.
