I fear he's already too late, reading between the lines it looks like he's cleared the tasks and then realised.... bummer.....

I'm not 100% on this, but for those who didn't get the Ajax Steel Mill during Pride, maybe that could be an option as I've read on here that it had a similar thing going on and you could use more people..

Yup. I completed her task somehow. I dont know how i was so careless but it happened. I was finally at the point where i could farm some kwikemarts for donuts too. :s

How can this happen?
Not that I wanna be snippy, I'm rather curious about how this is even possible.
I guess all job manager work the same, so when I send my people to their jobs, everyone with a task is blocked!
Even when I sent everyone to, for example, 4 hour assignments, Patty is blocked.
Although she actually has a 4 hour task, I would have to send her manually to drink at Moe's....

I accidentally tapped on her to go to Moe's once. Luckily I figured it out before it was done. I think it occurred when I had people with other quests, so I wasn't paying attention and just started to send them on their quest tasks. It could also occur if you were trying to manually set everyone on one hour tasks because of the send all tasks. I often manually send people when I get those tasks and it just becomes automatic without really looking at the task. This is why I keep her on 24 hour tasks and try to keep her task unaligned with the rest of the town.

Sorry to jump in with a question that will be obvious to the rest of you, but why is it so bad to get past that stage in the questline?

The task has a premium payout for most characters, so we like to use it to increase the money made for the four hour task. It is also nice to have most people at the same building. It takes a lot less time to collect from characters.

Well, you could sell the She She lounge and buy it back when it next appears (don't think it's permanent), 60 donuts, probably worth it.

Why was your Patty even tappable? Patty should be placed far from where you normally tap so that she stays on a task (i.e. napping on a bench) until the end of time.
