Origin seems to be back now.

I'm back in but after a meer 10 mins my origin button disappeared again.

Guess it's an improvement I couldn't even get to my town before!

No origin button at all for me, can't log in. Been out all day in Canada

Well after 7 hours and trying really hard to be patient, I've just about had enough. Seriously. What is ticking me off the most is that I know others are having no problems whatsoever and yet there are us group of lucky fools who keep going down for ridiculous hours at a time.

No, I do not want to relax and be calm.

I do realize it is a free game but enough is enough. Even free games have their line and I believe this one has just about crossed it.

This should have been fixed yesterday. Yet, it is not and since they are not updating anywhere it doesn't seem like they care enough to even keep their players informed.

Gone again here.

I have no friends!!11!!!

I've redownloaded twice today and about to do so again. I still get the Ugh! screen and retry is pointless. I just want to catch up with my stuff. I know all my missions should be done now.

I've been able to play all day, but no origin access. Meaning no friends! Getting random help from others though.

I just sent all my characters on 8 hour jobs. But no friends (been visited though), no origin logo. But worst of all, can't place the Bowlarama. It's finished!!!! I want Barney!!!!
Ah well. Going to bed now. Hope everything is fine in the morning.

seems to be gone again glad i got on set the tasks collected coins cash etc and visited neighbours before it went down again

Everything working perfectly in northeastern US, EXCEPT no Origin icon on friends screen. I'm able to visit friends' Springfields, I see hands shaking over my decorated houses...

Also, massive bonus points to Jofre_Nash for "Simpsomnia"! :lol:

Update 3-ish hours later. Origin icon still gone, now friends also gone. No new visits from neighbors. Ah, EA, caught off guard by their own update.

Irrelevant digression: When I glanced at the list of options at the bottom of the message screen, I thought there was a check box for "Disable similes in this message." How many English teachers would kill for that?
