EA have dropped the ball with this one, pissed off VERY loyal players who are both freemium and premium, all to make themselves richer while the game that was once actually brilliant, fails on all levels with severe security problems, constant errors and more.

We don't demand, we ask, we may complain, but those complaints are justified no matter how much others like to kiss EA's butts and call them nice things and say "oh hey, this is a lovely event, all is good, lah-te-dah-te-dah", but we have all got to a point where enough is enough, and it's time EA started to listen to people, whether it hurts some poor sods feelings about his or hers 'amazing new easter event' - they need to start listening to us, the loyal players, because in the end, without us, the game will not survive as people spend their money elsewhere

That didnt sound like a rant at all. But the fundamental flaw with your statement is that it is founded on that statement that EA is giving out items for free

I've placed a screencap of their event "Guide" below. Apologies for the huge size..

As you can see, Their own instructions tell us to "place baskets in our towns ...yadda yadda". There are only two ways to obtain baskets. The number of free ones is kept to an obscenely low level. The other method isnt what you are referring to -- the 10- donut basket. It was only the first of many insults of this event when they did not give any indication that a 10 donut basket would only collect 400 donuts. At any rate, 10 donuts aren't free. So I know you weren't talking about that.

EA is doing nothing to fix the baskets that don't work. Some of those were " given" by EA "for free". Gosh. Thanks, EA. (and we won't even bother to discuss the broken ones that cost donuts)

Their other instruction states that we will use the eggs "To win exclusive prizes". Their instruction does not say to use the eggs "to have a chance to win exclusive prizes" ... Several people have saved up 500 blue eggs to buy a gold box and "won" 250 blue eggs. The only "exclusive prize" they "won" was a big f-you from EA.

Many forum members are quick to (fairly) point out flaws in many events. THIS event does not HAVE flaws. It IS a flaw.

well I could start with the 42 avid daily playing neighbors who have abandoned thier Towns since the easter update. Also from reading other sites besides this one its apparent i'm not alone. One poll showed that out of 2855 responses 46% or 1312 say they are done with tsto because of this update. Those numbers mesh pretty darn close to the 42% of my nieghbors who no longer play since the update. I will provide the site if you wish.
