Pushing your luck EA....

Actually my game play is going well mechanically. I've had no problem navigating friend visits or my own town. I'm also not reading a wave of similar complaints. (But I also recently rolled back from lollipop to kit Kat because that WAS causing system crashes badly)

So perhaps EA is not aware of your circumstance, and you will have to call upon CS, same as the other MILLIONS OF PLAYERS, which they have as customers.

I understand your frustration. But to assume they are aware of the specific problems of user number 467897643345 (YOU) is a little extreme. Get in line, jump through the hoops, wait for help, etc. Good luck.

I feel the crashes are EA. They only started getting really bad a couple days ago with that update that didn't appear to do anything (I understand things were done that I don't necessarily know about) so yes, I do blame EA. Whenever the game crashes, I check other programs or apps or internet and have only had a simultaneous error once. I'm not saying it happens to everyone but it does happen and it is not coincidence.

I have contacted EA and by now, I know the rubber stamp process.

1. Try to uninstall and reinstall? Yes.... Ok, try
2. Tried game on another device? No, sorry I only have one phone. Ok, try
3. Go online to www.answers.... yadda yadda and make a post. Tried that and told it's only for users by users. They told me to contact you. Ok, try
4. Here's a case number and we will escalate it further.
5. Undetermined amount of time later, ummm not seeing any problems.


It's the same cookie cutter response I'm sure many have already heard.

What gets me is these things worked perfectly before. It's a EVERYTIME THEY UPDATE SOMETHING, something else gets screwy.

If you don't have ANY problems, I am genuinely happy for you. Doesn't mean me and others are not experiencing problems. Much like you, I feel I deserve a game without so many problems. Especially easily fixed issues that keep coming up.

Perfect example. Why does the sound clip on some PREMIUM items come and go after "updates". Either in your town or while visiting others that have it, try tapping either the ghost ship or freak mobile for sound... There is none anymore.

I've experienced some of the same issues but only when visiting certain friends which leads me to believe that maybe it's something to do with their Springfield. At this point I only have one friend where this is happening. I'm able to click on the first two actions but on the third it kicks me out. After I go back in I can usually lclick the third action and move on. If I click the first two, go back to my friends list and then back in, it doesn't kick me out of the game.

Also, I'm on a iPhone 5, is that not an iOS device ?

For those just advising to call EA, perhaps a portion of my post has been missed.

It must be just me out of millions that's bothered by an item I paid donuts for (real life money) that doesn't work properly. I loved the sound of the ghost ship but I should just accept it's sound failure. I hope this small but bothering issue also gets resolved sometime soon.

I don't think we as users can determine the cause of issues in many cases. The issue with the game crashing when storing Ned's house (didn't affect all users) was clearly determined to be a bug that was fixed. We don't have the information and will never get the information as to the conditions required for this bug to appear nor the reasons why not every user was affected.

There are other threads reporting users experiencing crashes when visiting friends who did not experience this until the xmas event.

I'm certainly experiencing issues with feds and the notifications.

Either way I do agree that EA is a large company and expect their processes and checks to be more mature.

Im sorry, but I can't help but reacting. Game crasching - irritating, but mine crashed after each visit for a while. X-mas presents not to your liking - how old are you, really?

Actually I do have life. One that involves discussion and resolution.

Perhaps I should have said "we" instead of just me. I meant it for everyone having issues. Sorry for not making that clear.
My sound is on but only two items that had sound NO LONGER HAVE SOUND.
If I choose to play and bring up items that would displease the average player, that's my right. If me quitting would fix everyone's problems I would happily sacrifice this game for the whole community. I'd find another way to play. It is a game after all.

Perhaps you should get a refresher course on writing, reading, and some manners.
