Were these quests associated to Springfield Heights? Because a lot of us had that happen. We even had buildings complete their upgrades.

Have a feeling this all ties back to fixing the "negative tasks completed" glitch.
Had all of my tasks "complete" (and for some, like "Unlock Ray Patterson" for this event, they just restarted).
It also probably is why some people got given a baby Spuckler for Brandine's birthing task (even if they'd cancelled the task, or if they didn't receive one when the task finished). Killed 2 birds with 1 stone, really.
