Yeah, rush the event, I'm bored.
I don't get that.
Back in the day, it was done to make sure they didn't fall behind, at the end of an act we sometimes had a Bonut Round, where once you hit a certain amount of event currency earned you would get a round of Bonus Donuts in theory you could gain what you had lost....
Nowadays?
It more often done by those who don't want to log in every four hours, but they do want the content.
It's often done by high leveled players who farm donuts and don't really know what to do with them.
With the current way the whole thing is setup, you could be working on act I and act III simultaneously so I no longer see a reason to rush, unless the "
Event" is about to finish.
Edit:
Them complaining, is them complaining. Even in the old days people wanted more events, you could have been playing an event for 30-50 days....and the second it's over.... "When's the next event coming out, I'm bored" would start popping up.
Mind you, I'm talking about a time when the level cap hadn't been invented yet.
New levels had content themselves, new characters one Freemium and one premium usually.... Those often felt like small updates, like a Mini-Mini-event
Months could go without updates, or days.... People still complained.
It's almost tied to a part of humanities worst tendencies and nature.
