Wade thanks for the reminder. Especially as one who regularly forgets that every tuesday is railyard day. I guess some people aren't as perfect as others. I look forward to next weeks reminder.
I already posted next weeks reminder
Just like many things, not all reminders are the same. We remind, forget, chat about our progress, etc. Honestly I cant see why this bothers anyone. If a particular thread bothers me, like all the fighting about the pagans last month, I don't read it. To each his own I suppose. Different strokes."HomerND84;1531583" wrote:
@AirurandoP your right anyone can post freely but why have the same thread week in week out. Maxx is right the op should just bump his original thread.
@LPNintendoITA it's not about opening threads it's where on about it's constantly seeing the same thread. We know it's mono day every Tuesday. We just don't need it rammed in our faces.
Once a week is NOT filling page after page every day is it?
You and any others are making issues over nothing."adruralo52;1531623" wrote:

So tell me why the OP cannot just bump his original thread?
Once he creates a new one the mods should merge it with the original.
Should we create a new "good morning" thread each day as well?"HomerND84;1531634" wrote:

@HomerND84 why not? As I said previously, while it may bother you it doesn't bother everyone. That's why we have Mods to decide what is objectively inappropriate content or behaviour.
You may not need it but others have asked questions as to what it was about (ironically spurred on by the mock threads.) Those questions were answered, friend requests wee sent and accepted and all parties were happy. Is that not the point of and the spirit of the forum rather than moaning about threads you don't like or are not interested in?
P.S. Threads moaning about other thread should really be posted in off topic as they are not strictly "Game discussion" ;) - AirurandoPRising Newcomer

@MaxxSpider because he doesn't have to. If the mods have problem with them I'm sure they'll let him know.
If someone wants to create a good morning thread every day I don't see that there would be a problem so you can if you want.
Let the mods do their job and just enjoy the forum. Read what interests you and ignore what doesn't (eg. I ignore your constant "nuke your town" posts.)

I am just creating other threads to show how stupid it is to create the exact same thread each week.
Why cant the same thread be bumped up?
there is a good morning thread that has been going on for ever. why don't we start a new one each day so we can fill the forum up with the same threads?
Personally I don't need the reminder as I love the monorail so never miss the day. I do enjoy reading the threads every week though as people often discuss their monorails in them
There are also threads I'm not interested in which I simply ignore rather than create other threads about them to voice my own opinion as I don't feel it contributes anything constructive to an otherwise enjoyable forum. I think it's also a bit counterproductive to create a thread to complain about "pointless spam" threads.
Everyone has their own methods. A single thread could probably be bumped it's true but it's not really doing any harm this way either. Not like those Chinese spam posts last week. That's why we have mods, to differentiate between the two and keep things nice and tidy.
@AirurandoP makes a pretty good point about the mods. If anyone is experiencing real heartache about the multiple Railyard reminder threads it might be more productive to take the issue up directly with the mods via pm. And if the multiple threads are okay with the mods, then that’s that.- Wanna complain? Go to the complaint line...then get bent.
I used to see these every week and think similar thoughts to the complaints here....until I forgot it was Rail Yard day. Now I view it as a friendly reminder that I don't always need but also that I don't need to get bent out of shape because of just because I'm normally so dammn prefect. ;)
It won't work as a reminder if it's the same thread getting bumped. Logic will give you the reasons for that. - Can't believe these irritated ones are STILL making an issue, that's not there's to police.
