I also wondered this. Like if that's how you know there are gremlins afoot.

- I did wonder that, if the screams meant ghosts popped up, and screeches for Gremlins planted!
- I had 2 devices running 2 different towns and the bat screech occurred on both one after the other.
And no ghost or gremlin was in either town. So at least I'm convinced the screech is random--
Not sure of the other sounds.
Would like an alert sound like we had with the snakes, at least it made scrolling around warranted.
