Lack of house variety (Brown houses lined up next to each other)
Bland. A lot of trees.
Just a solid stripe of water near the bottom of the town.
Uninspired decoration.
I've seen worse, and I've seen better.
Now, I expect to get cussed out because I didn't say "10/10 BEST EVAR" OrdealByFire wrote:

Criticism is almost always harsh. People who want to get rated should expect different opinions.
I do agree with you though, it's kind of bland on some parts of the town.- I'm fine with criticism, I'm not expecting everyone to love it. certainly not going to get mad if someone doesn't. For the most part, I have my reasons for keeping it simple:
-too many trees? it's a forest. they have trees. lots of 'em. it's not a high population town, there isn't to going to be tons of development at the moment.
-no house variety? not really. sure, there is a cluster of brown houses in one section, that's the low income area, not everyone can live in white and blue houses.
-only one stip of water? it's a river, fed by the falls, flowing into the sea. the industrial district is by the river for dumping. rivers don't always wind, and they certainly don't turn at 90 degree angles like the game does. no desire for lakes with islands that close to the sea.
-the hidden base is a hidden base in a forest. it's hidden from the rest of the town.
-the farm is large and away from the town, as farms usually are. they also raise reindeer for meat. small enclosures make the meat tender.
-the motel is out of the way to keep the questionable activities private.
-old folks home by the cemetery and hospital for ease of access.
-yeah, there are t a whole lot of decorations, but how many gazebos, mail boxes, dumpsters and benches does a town need? trying to be somewhat realistic. I could flower it up a bit, but too many little things tend to bog the game down. if there were more variety of decorations and it wasn't donuts for everything maybe there would be more, but generally towns slaughtered with stuff doesn't look very good either.
-I tried to make it a small town with more open space and give houses yards rather than packing as much stuff as I can to get a higher bonus%
that's about it. different districts but a small town feel. - Looks good, ill drink to that
http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view5/3671060/bill-murray-o.gif - I can't really criticize because my own town is still in a fairly early stage. I like the tidiness and completeness of what you've done. The forest is a little boring for me, though. With that much size, I'd challenge you to mix it up a bit. Maybe there's a small lake or a creepy house in the middle. Maybe the tree types and density vary from one end to the other. Stuff like that.

- petergeenenNew SpectatorVery nice. Would you like me to post it in the "Panoramic" thread?
http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9329979.page - it's not bad. I love forests. towns with good forest really seem a lot nicer to me. Although yours could use a bit of work.
It isnt a bad town by any means.

I need to take more screencaps of mine and change mine. I've changed a lot in the last 3-4 days that my sig link doesnt show. Fixed up the whole bottom right corner and got rid of the ugly 3d hedging and fruit tree orchard, moved mount carlmore to an island, moved the volcano lair to the other side of the springfield sign, put a bunch of flower planters in mr burns yard to give it some colour.
