Finding SSB in OS has no impact at all for triggering the flaw and order quest line, that only helps when you have the quest line active in your task book.

Are we sure? I really used the Bob trick a lot to earn extra cash and I mean a lot of extra cash and I was the first to get Bob. So I say it couldn't hurt.

This is interesting. I'd be willing to test this out when I have some extra time. At the very least I'd wind up with some extra cash.

I'm just wondering how I should go about doing such a test. Should I go back to my town to look for him every single time I catch him in OS? Or maybe after 20 times? 50?

Also, do you get a message if he appears in your town or do I need to just look through my whole town every time I check if he's there?

My understanding is that you'll get a message at the top of the screen that says he's loose in your town (similar to the "no more robo funzos" message), but someone who's actually seen him in their own town will hopefully confirm.

Most times he appeared, I either didn’t get the message or spotted him before the message appeared. I feel like the message was good the first few times I saw him, after that not so much. My town was super small when he appeared, so it was easy to spot a character I didn’t own (out of maybe 25 or so). My quest stalled after I couldn’t spot him anymore, & OS saved the day (or several days). It also helps the conform-o-meter to catch him in OS, & as a new player dealing with graffiti it helped.

Sad to see this is a problem for so many.

I tried to email support because I can't bear to hear their uneducated voices but after a few emails they started to sympathize with me for my bugs and issues regarding Star Wars battlefront. Baffled, I stopped right there.

Can you also tell them to put duff gardens and lizard queen lisa in my game purr lease? I suffered a glitch where Gil disappeared way back when I was level 60 and i have never been offered it again. I did complain but all I got was a standard wait till the content is released again statement. Well it hasnt. Ever. :/

There are at least 3 level quests lines that can sometimes stall in the game, level 24 (Dr Hibbert), level 27 (Carl and Lenny) and level 31 (Wolfcastle). I have included ways to try and trigger these quests in the tips thread - I had levels 27 and 31 stall in my 3rd town. Unfortunately the SSB quests are not linked to any level and I haven’t found any way to trigger these. No player should have to wait until after level 939 to get SSB, especially as this character can help with tasks for SH.

They can trigger it for you. The specialist that helped me get Bob had to log in my town 3 times in order to trigger each part. Contact them via live chat and request a specialist. Tell them it’s missing content (the quest NOT the character) and you might get it. Like Ron said, keep contacting them thought, at first I got 3 advisors that were just lest be polite, useless!

@Muhsterino, I agree. Missing SSB is not okay, especially for a level 939 player who should have encountered the quest ages ago. Hoping the info I’ve received from ea may help @chadstraus97 next time he gets a response. The tips for stalled tasks have helped me in the past too.

For what it's worth, Cecil unlocked for me at least a few months ago (iirc @OhHappyJays is right about the requirements).

I just fired off my first email to EA re: SSB. We'll see where that goes.

RTR requirements are $2m IGC or buy one aspirational item (as listed in the tips thread). You have had your CTTF town over 1 year now, although you didn’t play for around 6 months. Still seems a long wait.........

And yes, I just made it very clear to them in my email that if this is the kind of customer service they provide, I'll take my time and money elsewhere. Hopefully that will prompt some attention to this issue. I think we can all agree that no update for at least 10 days (or 16 days, depending on which rep you believe) is unacceptable!
