So done with this garbage ...

Sorry, but feel the need to vent over EA's massive apathy over tech support.

For the third time this year, my game is refusing to load (crashes when attempting to log in). Exact same symptoms every time, previous twice the issue was diagnosed as a problem with a corrupted save file on the server, the game was rolled back and everything worked fine for a while before happening again.

This time, I advised tech support two weeks ago, outlined all the symptoms, pointed to the previous cases and solutions and even now I am still receiving boilerplate, pre-scripted emails that I have to wait 3 days for after every response.

I have missed the whole of the current event so far, missed the tenth anniversary gift (which having been playing pretty much since day 1 is just ... well ... you know) and still have no end in sight.

I am not going to bleat on about how much I have spent over the years (a lot) or how much time I have invested (a ridiculous amount) I am just incredulous about how utterly abysmal a massive, global game company can be at supporting the players of their games.

Love the game, and want it back so I can keep playing but I am genuinely not far from the point of uninstalling it and just moving on.

Life is too short.
