That's a brilliant idea. Lyle usually just come to town to sell something and then leaves anyways. As long as Lyle's offers don't fall apart after he leave than I think this is the new way of doing sales.

I'd like both Gil and Lyle as permanent playable characters. Don't see a reason why either couldn't trigger sales and have jobs, especially since they made the change a while back so quests trigger while characters are working a job.

Interesting, as Lyle is known to be a "con-man" him selling these items as a "deal" would make sense he is a salesman afterall.
However if it was between Lyle and Lionel Hutz, Lionel Hutz would be the better salesman he doesnt hide the quality of his products, just like EA.
