- I'm working on mine for the first time since Haloween began. I just work on it when I really have nothing else to do and don't worry too much about it. There's no rush for me. I would like more land, though, for designing purposes. :)
- Wow so much complaining. I'm not even at 100 million and frankly I don't care. It's too much of a grind. I'll do what I can when I can and just move on. I don't think I'll be hitting 1 billion anytime soon.
- It sucked. I reached the billion a while ago (before the next event started), and after I got Paris, I'm considering storing her (which I have never done for a playable character). Her 4 hour task requires the giant lake, and the haven is nothing too spectacular. Her 1 hour Walk the Dog task has her disappearing into the giant skyscrapers, so I have a hard time finding and collecting. Those who aren't there yet aren't missing much.

I was going to post a new thread asking about this, but I figure this thread is here and I might as well use it!
What is the most efficient way to get to the ridiculous final prize? Is there a best method? I know there is a lot of grinding no matter what, but are there shortcuts or better things to build?
I just got back started on it after the last couple of events. I had bought 10 of each building and upgraded 1 of each to the max except for 1 parking garage which needed 1 more upgrade. I'd also upgraded 4 more Deluxe Condos completely and started a couple more...
I finished off the partially upgraded buildings, then looked at the numbers. With my resources maxed out I can upgrade 1 building to the maximum. Then I refill, which is something I can do while we watch TV in the evenings. Or while I'm doing housework, or sitting here perusing the forum...
Right now I'm doing my Railyard Crafting and still grinding my way towards refilling my Heights supplies. It just takes longer.
So far I've been able to complete 3 more Modern Mansions and bring my total up to 387.45 Million.
Oh, the Pills, Pills, Pills, Pills, Pills.
Pills are the worst! I use them up almost as fast as I can make them and I don't even have Bumble Bee Man. If I didn't have Jasper Beardly I don't think I could do this at all. It's been taking me 2 or 3 hours extra time just to finish refilling the Pills. - I work on it while watching football. American football. Have the tablet plugged in and running and after each play tap through to collect and re set the jobs. Going pretty smooth like that. Doesnt feel like a grind when im just collecting and resetting during the game while there all getting up collecting and re setting to run the next play. In perfect ying yang with the universe this way
- My feeling is that the original writers created Springfield Heights as a tongue-in-cheek Tribute to materialism, so I guess The joke's really on us because we can't resist doing the grind. I find it a lot less fun than general Springfield, though, Because there are fewer direct ties to the show and it's all just about land and money. What I would really like to see instead of something like that is including Shelbyville in the game. They could have competitions between Springfield and Shelbyville and tasks that ask one to take revenge against the other. In the end, EA could still get our hard earned donuts, but we might enjoy it more.

2255 pills, 2200 mobiles, 1620 rugs, 825 cups and 350 statues.
Thought id update my thread.
Got to 1 billion last week:D
Been doing some tactics that people spoke off like grinding away while watching a football match or something. That's not long in building supplies.
I'm now at £1.1b:D
Just need the following to have everything updated
1100 rugs, 1075 pills, 570 mobiles, 250 statues, 150 cups
Should get me to £1.25b and I'm done:D
Id hate to work out how much in total iv needed.
It be in the tens of thousands including land and decorations- 4junk3000New SpectatorI think it's funny how compulsive people get with regard to completing tasks here.
I grinded in SH until i got Ziffs mansion because i wanted it. By then i had all the property available, and my SH design is complete.
I still have plenty of buildings not even started. I won't bother with those until more SH land releases.
For me, it's not about achieving their goals, it's about building a great looking town and having fun doing it. I am very happy with my SH and consider it a great addition to the game. - See I have some ocd with tapped out.
In my 3 years plus of building and tapping there has only been one period where I have been totally ahead of the game with nothing to aim for.
It was a 5 week period after the whacking day event.
Just now I'm well ahead in terms of money. I have all the aspirationals and land and I'm sitting on 17mil. This includes Montys money pile and the IRS being fully updated.
Springfield heights all I need to do upgrade 2 condos, 5 valet parking from level 3 and 5 business centres from level 2. Hopefully Ill get that finished before new year.
Monorail I'm needing probably another 80 pieces or so to complete a full monorail around my town.
So iv still got a few months of that to grind through but the donuts help keep that interesting.
My Krustland is complete and I have 100000 tickets in there for anything.
My Squidport is complete and I have actually too many tiles due to the handshake glitch a while back.
I like being ahead of the game so to speak.:D
