I've noticed that with the Texan whenever I go into Baton mode is when the job cancels out. So to finish the task I guess I just have to not whack any snakes for 12 hours. Did anyone else notice that?
Not baton mode specifically. Whacked some snakes with no problem. Then I cracked some eggs and went to see if any of my neighbors were open yet (they were not) and came back to find him off the bronco.
Tried putting him back on then going to the neighbor screens again, but of course, he was okay still. Whacked a couple more snakes, he was still going. So I'm wondering if it's eggs. None of it makes any sense. I do software, and it boggles my mind how some of these things even interfere with each other, when those parts of the code shouldn't touch at all.- Yea this blasted Texan is annoying me with taking himself out the quest. He thinks just because he has money, he can do as he pleases. Pfft
- Donuts! Is there nothing they can't solve?! I had him go off the riding the bronco task three times now. He had about 6 hours left when I read this thread. I sped him up and now he's off to the track with Mr. Burns.
I suspect it wasn't the snake whacking that was sending him off task, but the moving of the snake speaker. I have two areas with logs and I move the speaker back and forth between the two. Shortly thereafter I would find the Texan wandering around town off task. Shauna had a similar issue of going off task while feeding the ducks. If you moved water near by, she would go for a wander. :) NeoSEC28 wrote:

Well, if he wants to buy a football stadium, he needs to get to work and finish his tasks!- yes! ive noticed that his riding the Bronco has gotten cut short quite a few times...its so odd

ah yea, that's true. lol. was just thinking that the Texan should at least own SOMETHING In Springfield tho. Tony is a mobster, of course he would have a big house and his businesses. lol
