I just wanted to share I really like the direction TSTO is going.
I love the frequent updates, with the holiday themes and the level updates.

But what I really like is the Squidport update and despite the complaints about the time the tiles take to generate, that is now the fun. I never speed things up and I love every two days (my current wait time for a tile) I get a new tile I can think how best to utilise and rearrange the buildings to best utilise the extra space. And then while waiting for the next tile, I can think where I can place the tile and do the next rearrangement.

And from the rumors, Krustyland update will be almost like a new game in a game. From the speculation it will bet almost like starting from scratch with new currency and tasks and buildings and new land to buy. It will be fantastic to have a whole new area to build. And the best part is the new currency so I can't use my accumulated cash reserves ($23m) to buy everything instantly and I will need to earn the tickets to build.

If all this is true, then congrats EA for really freshening up the game.

I am pretty sure in game cash will play a big role when krustyland arrives it is unlikely that EA would leave in game cash to be irrelevant for a update as big

I'm busy saving cash for the big toilet! I've got $2mil saved, if it turns out to be a $4mil item, I'm halfway there

I'm gonna speculate that in game cash is completely irrelevant in Krustyland. It's a start over expansion on it's own map with it's own currency, is my speculation ... But what do I know ;) :)

Sorry to go against your speculation but I speculate quite the opposite I speculate players will be able to buy krustyland currency with their Springfield cash in addition to earning them through tasks

No need to be sorry :) but my speculation is as close to a fact as it gets. And you're going to be extremely disappointed when it comes if you believe that to be true. But we can agree to disagree, we'll see what happens :)

No I won't on second thought I think cash will play a role just not in the way I thought I don't think it will be able to change over in that manner but the krustyland currency may be able to transfer over

Well yeah, I'll just go ahead and speculate you can use tickets to buy cash, but not the other way around. EA doesn't want people with millions saved up to speed through KL, they want you to use donuts if you wanna speed through it, like everything else in the game.

I think that is what will happen with Krsutyland its serves to reason my earlier statement made sound like buying donuts with in game cash which will never happen
  • It is refreshing that respondents on this thread have been positive.
I have found it somewhat bewildering of an increasing trend of people being critical. Of course there is rarely a game where everyone is happy and it is a positive thing to suggest improvements, but lets acknowledge the great things about TSTO that keeps us all playing.

I have never spent so much on a game, but I only do so to get the premium items to enhance my gaming experience, not to rush the progress. I have done this to date it has given me nearly 10 months of fun. And EA have come up with imaginative ways to keep the interest levels high. Squidport in its design and from what Krustyland is speculated to offer will only increase my interest in the game.
